I was not working as a Photographer in the 1980's and my business schedule did not permit much opportunity to travel to races. These shots were from the 1985 Strohs 300 CART race at Laguna Seca and were all taken from areas accessible to the public at that event. In 1985, the race was still run on the shorter, 1.9 mile layout at Laguna - prior to the 1988 construction of the Turns 2,3,4 & 5 loop in the infield - which extended the track to 2.2 miles.
